We typically work with all kinds of suite stylists like Sola, Phenix, or even individual leased spaces.

But what we have also been seeing a lot of is home based salons.

This isn't what you might be thinking of, these are built out, well designed, spacious entities that are located on the stylists' home property but still private.

Honestly, we love working with these type of stylists, and they specifically need help like ours to care for their clients during their leaves.

I think it's fascinating to see more and more stylists take this career path and do it well.

15 years ago, I received my cosmetology license✨️🖤

I was only a high school student when I went to state boards and started in the salon soon after. I've done so much in this industry from working on photo sets, opening a suite, working with a team, creating looks for local shows, building a wonderful clientele, and now running my dream business of The Traveling Hair Stylists.

I love what I do, and I couldn't imagine doing anything else. This business is my way of giving back to this industry, so here's to 15 years🥂

This has been a very different month than usual because I wasn't in the salon at all! It was so filled with lots of behind the scenes, new offers, and so much growth and inquiries flowing in which is so exciting for the team and I!

One of our stylists recently wrapped up a contract providing coverage for a suite stylist on a 5 week trip to the African islands!

Colorado Springs is the center point of the state with fantastic views of the rockies and is situated above 6,000 feet in elevation.

This town at the base of the mountains has great outdoor activities, several different parks and trails to bike and hike on. There is also a lot of fun history in Old Town and Manitou that have made the springs what it is today. And of course, so many good coffee and lunch spots here too!

Client rentention is a huge worry for stylists who are going to be away for an extended amount of time, like maternity or medical leaves.
